On October 19, Denver’s best intimate music venue, Your Mom’s House, will be hosting a grand reopening after weeks of renovations. The event will feature Taylor Shrederick & Friends, a super-group composed of members from Dopapod, Eminence Ensemble, Jaden Carlson Band, & The Other Black. Atlas Adrift, a rising local force in the Jam scene, will also be making their debut. The night will offer a harmonious mix of jam, funk, and prog rock. This show will be an immersive experience with top-notch production and visual sensations.
The future of Your Mom’s House is looking bright. After the renovation, it will be the best looking and sounding small room in Denver. The re-opening will unveil two in-house lasers, six canons, a raised stage, projection mapping, improved power, and so much more. With a fresh setup and elevated talent, Your Mom’s House aims to exceed concert goers expectations. The re-opening will also unveil a pimped out exterior featuring large LED signs, murals, and improved curb appeal.
Boogie Groove Entertainment, the production company that runs Your Mom’s House, prides themselves on operating independently. With the live music scene being vastly monopolized by Live Nation and AEG, it is very challenging for independent venues to carve out their own place in the music industry. Yet, Your Mom’s House has proved to be a growing force in the Colorado scene. They have made waves with their in-house shows, camping festival, and growing community. Your Mom’s House has the potential to mold the scene and set an example of how artists should be treated.
